GAME REGULATIONS
Game Length All playoff games are scheduled for seven (7) innings
Time Limits

No Time Limit for Championship/Final Games

The playoff "Final" is a 3-Game-Series without a time limit, ensuring a complete, seven-inning game is played to determine a winner.

Quarterfinals/Semifinals:

To keep the playoff on schedule, a time limit is implemented.

GAME 1: 5:45PM - 8:15PM

(Last inning call 7:55PM)

GAME 2: 8:30PM - 11:00PM

(Last inning call 10:40PM)

  • Ties: If a game is tied after a full inning when the time limit has expired, the game is often considered a tie and the winner is determined by a tie-breaker rule. However, It will play an extra inning or two, with an international tie-breaker (runner on 1st and 2nd base) to speed up play. Runner must be the last two outs batter. This is less common in the playoffs, as a winner is generally required
No time Limit
  • This is the most significant difference from the early rounds. The final championship game is almost always played to its full 7-inning conclusion, with no time limit.

  • Extra Innings: If the game is tied after 7 innings, extra innings are played until one team has a lead at the end of a full inning.

  • Runners on both first and second base on the 8th inning onward to help speed up the game.

  • Innings: The game will continue until a winner is determined.

  • Suspended Games: Similar to the early rounds, if the final game is suspended, it will be resumed from the point of stoppage to ensure a winner is crowned.

Suspended Games Suspended Games: If a game is stopped due to weather, darkness, or other circumstances, it is often suspended and resumed from the point of stoppage at a later, pre-determined time.
Official Game A game is considered official if five (5) full innings have been completed, or 4.5 innings if the home team is leading. If a game is called due to weather or darkness before it is official, it will be suspended and resumed from the point of interruption at a later date.
HBP Rule Three total hit-by-pitches (HBP) in an inning require a pitching change.
Called Game Rule A game will be called if there is a 15-run lead after five (5) innings.
Extra Innings

If a game is tied after 7 complete innings, extra innings will be played. Starting in the 8th inning, the international tie-breaker rule may be used:

Each team begins its turn at bat with a runner on First and Second base.

The runner is the player who made the last final outs in the previous inning.

Selected New Pitcher by Team Manager: Any pitcher from the team who already played at the beginning is allow to re-enter the extra inning.
